HOSPITALITY
Society Architecture Collective reimagined two transformative spaces at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, creating destinations that celebrate Arizona's desert character. Drawing inspiration from the organic forms and warm tones of the Sonoran landscape—agave, limestone, native flora—the team crafted soulful retreats that blend contemporary design with desert tranquility.
Agave, The Arizona Spa
Softly curved spaces feature natural stone, warm woods, and earthy tones that echo the forms of agave and native flora. A sculptural entry welcomes guests into lounges and treatment areas defined by organic lines and calming light. Enhanced wellness offerings—a movement studio, red-light therapy, water-cushion treatments, and expanded relaxation rooms—elevate the spa's integrative approach. The result is a soulful retreat where contemporary design meets desert tranquility.
Antidote Bar
Originally underutilized turf and hardscape, Antidote was reimagined as a vibrant social hub celebrating panoramic views of the golf course, lake, and mountains. Positioned as an anchor on the resort's main axis, it draws guests from arrival through the lobby and into genuine connection. The warm, communal layout offers a true antidote to everyday life.
