Partnering with interior designers Leo A Daly and CRA, Society Architecture Collective executed a full-scale, historically grounded restoration of La Quinta Resort & Club—a reverent evolution that preserves the property's legendary 1920s Spanish Colonial character while introducing the comforts and sophistication today's guests expect. Drawing authentically from the surrounding desert landscape and the original craftsmanship that defined the resort, the team incorporated hand-painted tiles, wrought iron detailing, and custom Mexican wood furnishings throughout the restoration.
This wasn't about erasing history; it was about deepening the story, honoring what made La Quinta beloved.
The restoration touched every corner of this iconic destination, breathing new life into more than 600 casitas and villas while strengthening the community spaces that make gathering here feel special. The result is a renewal that honors the past while embracing the present—a place where Hollywood glamour meets contemporary luxury, and where every detail invites guests to slow down and savor the timeless magic of the desert.
