HOSPITALITY

Society Architecture Collective partnered with the Hilton Santa Monica team to transform a beloved Santa Monica institution into a vibrant reflection of the neighborhood itself. Just steps from the beach, the former DoubleTree Suites underwent a comprehensive rebranding that honors the area's laid-back spirit while embracing contemporary warmth and connection. Every corner of the property was thoughtfully reconsidered—from the intimate spaces where guests rest to the public gathering places where community comes alive.

The result is a hotel that feels authentically woven into Santa Monica's fabric— connected to the laid-back luxury and genuine hospitality that define the California coast.

Guest Rooms

The guestroom modernization brought a brighter, more beachy aesthetic to all 211 suites and 68 rooms, creating sanctuaries that echo the surrounding landscape and neighborhood energy.

Public Spaces

A redesigned Atrium Lobby now serves as a welcoming entry point, while the reimagined Reception, Grab and Go, and expanded Meeting spaces (over 10,000 sq ft) support both leisure and business travelers.

Wellness & Restaurants

The refreshed Pool Deck, Fitness Center, and new Porte Cochere complete the experience, while Monca's Restaurant and Bar anchors the property as a genuine gathering destination.
